About MeI was born in Calgary, Alberta and spent most of my childhood there in a house near the open prairie. I loved reading, writing, animals, being outdoors and + read more music. My teen years passed in Delta, BC, although summers found me back in Alberta, working on a ranch.

Early adult years were a time for working, travelling and studying favourite things like Literature, Fine Arts, Philosophy and Creative Writing. I married, had two wonderful children, and spent a respectable amount of time being practical. My early loves stayed with me and the desire to write became an irresistible call. I listened, and as life allowed (in the uneven way it tends to do), I wrote.

I continue to write and when the words flow, it's a joy. I also enjoy the challenge of finding my way through the difficult, stubborn patches of a story - especially once I've made it through!
