About Me
I am a writer and storyteller with nine children's books and one how-to writing book under my belt, and dozens of presentations and storytelling sessions. I

also teach creative writing at the community, high school and college level.

I served as writer in residence at Vancouver's York House School in 2015 and 2016, helping Grade Seven students write historical fiction. And as writer in residence for Schools District 36 (Surrey) Learning Centres in 2014. In 2013 I participated in the Canadian Children's Book Week tour, visiting schools and libraries in Saskatchewan.
I live in Nanaimo BC where I volunteer, read, write, walk, sketch and take photos.
